Pic George MisuliaGeorge Misulia is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Business and holds a Masters of Religious Studies and a Masters of Biblical Studies from Providence College, where he taught theology before entering into full time campus and youth ministry. He was a founder of University Christian Outreach as well as the Director of Crossroads Music and Education for fifteen years. He co-hosted two radio shows, 'The Spirit and the Word' and 'Common Ground'. With his band Crossroads, George recorded fourteen albums and numerous music videos. His original compositions include internationally published songs such as Let The Fire Fall, Enter In and Put On Jesus Christ which have been translated into over fifteen languages. He has appeared on EWTN numerous times and has provided music for Catholic conferences throughout the United States, Mexico and Europe. As a minister of music for St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Westminster, MD for over fifteen years, George has provided musical leadership for retreats, Lifenights and the weekly Lifeteen Mass.

Pic Bill ChristensenBill Christensen has been a direct marketing strategist and creative consultant to an international clientele for over twenty-five years. He specializes in improving marketing performance for organizations within the fields of publishing, banking, credit, insurance and retail investments. Clients have included companies such as Sylvan Learning Systems, Mellon Bank, Commercial Credit, United Group Companies, Legal and General (London), Time Magazine, Fortune Magazine, Advertising Age, Forbes, Phillips Publishing International, and more. He is a recipient of numerous national awards and is recognized for creating some of the "most profitable direct mail campaigns ever produced," as is documented in the industry textbook, Million Dollar Mailings. Bill has volunteered extensively with Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity and provided marketing, fundraising and capital development assistance to a number of Catholic organizations including Project Rachel, Christlife, the Nashville Dominicans, Ave Maria University, and Ave Maria School of Law.

Pic Jim BuchheitJames Buchheit has been a product engineer, systems engineer and project manager for the Department of Defense, NASA and private industry for 22 years. His focus has been primarily on producing tools, scientific instruments and processes for the US manned space flight program and advanced weapons/detection systems for the US military. Customers have included, The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Goddard/Marshal/Johnson Space Flight Centers, Johns Hopkins University, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, and the United States Navy, Air Force and Army. He is a certified NASA scuba diver. And his achievements include supporting three space shuttle missions. James is currently program manager for three Department of Defense product development programs and serves on the Rector’s Advisory Council of Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

IT and Web Development

Pic Doug JacksonDoug Jackson is an IT Administrator in the Washington, DC area. He also was a Senior Systems Engineer for the former Sun Microsystems, Inc. where he provided pre-sales technical consulting for several civilian government agencies for 11 years. Prior to that he was a Field Service Engineer for Eastman Kodak Company and Xerox Corporation. He has been involved with music from an early age as a vocalist, instrumentalist, composer, arranger and producer. His musical  accomplishments also include work in sound engineering and recording for over 30 years. He has produced and engineered several independent Folk and Catholic Christian recordings. Doug is a convert to Catholicism and a parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle in Libertytown, MD.

Financial Advisor

Pic Paul GallagherPaul Gallagher is the Director of Religious Education at St. John Church in Westminster, MD. Paul’s professional background is in business finance, but he made a transition into using his talents to develop outstanding religious programs for youth and adults. He has Master’s degrees in both Theology and Business Administration. For the last several years, Paul has been an East Coast Area Contact for the Life Teen Youth Ministry Movement. He has been a speaker at national Life Teen conferences and training workshops and has served on the boards of Carroll Hospice and Carroll Home Care, along with the Health Services Board of Carroll Hospital Center.

Field Testing

Pic Fr Tyson WoodFather Tyson Wood is a Catholic priest of the Archdiocese of Baltimore and is currently serving in the Archdiocese for the Military Services as an Army Chaplain. Chaplain (Major) Tyson Wood is on his second deployment to Iraq and his religious support missions typically demand he leave the safety of his Forward Operating Base in order to minister to the needs of service members in more remote locations.

Knights of Columbus Liaison

Pic Pete DavioFor over 32 years, Peter Davio was a management consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton working in the field of project management with a client list encompassing much of the Department of the Navy and the National Guard Bureau. His fields of expertise included information systems technology, federal and State constitutional law, finance, and contracts. He also served three years as an adjunct instructor conducting classes in project management and is a Certified Project Management Professional with PMI. Pete and his wife Francine are members of St. Mary’s Church in Barnesville, Md. where they sing in the church choir. Pete has served as President of the Parish Council, and can be found working on parish grounds maintenance or one of the parish fundraisers. He has been an active member of the Knights of Columbus for over 30 years and is currently State Deputy for Maryland. Most recently Pete served as the Maryland State Council liaison for the 'OLTFF' project, promoting the project’s capabilities and potential throughout the Maryland Jurisdiction. He has conducted fundraisers to finance the pilot evaluation, and oversees project expenditures. He has been an active collaborator with the OLTFF staff, the State Deputy of Maryland, the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Military Services, the Supreme Council’s Military liaison and Board of Directors.

Professor of Moral Theology
Mount St. Mary's Seminary
Peter F. Ryan, S.J., is a professor of Moral Theology at Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg , Md. , where he also does spiritual direction and formation advising. A priest of the Maryland Province of the Society of Jesus, he was ordained in 1987 and received his S.T.D. from the Gregorian University in Rome in 1996. Fr. Ryan currently serves as the president of the Jesuit Philosophical Association, and is a member of the executive board of the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars. He has written articles on a variety of topics, including bioethics, academic freedom in the Catholic university, and the relationship between moral action and ultimate human fulfillment. Fr. Ryan is presently working on a book on the theology of heaven and hell and its significance for the new evangelization.
